Overview

Energy companies have felt cold and transactional for decades.
Energy touches everyone, yet it belongs to no one.
Daylight is a human, hopeful energy brand, built with optimism and abundance in mind.

The role

Daylight's brand and marketing, run end to end once Numbered delivered the identity: the voice, the website, print, motion and merch. The role is part creative director, part builder of the machine that does the making. Custom AI systems produce most of the work, so a team of one delivers the output of a studio. Agencies and freelancers come in when a project needs more hands.

Identity

Every ray of light contains
a full spectrum of colors.
We found ours and built a brand around it.

Brand book

More Power is Daylight’s brand manifesto, expressed as a printed book. Its purpose is to make the bigger idea understandable, give people something to believe in, and make the brand tangible.

Welcome kit

Every customer relationship
should start right.
A premium welcome, with a few home essentials for a more powered life.

Daylight welcome kit: orange and black Good Day boxes with home essentials

Merch

Merch should feel like
something you'd buy anyway.
Custom pieces and everyday goods,
designed to the same standard as the brand.

Black leather Daylight bomber jacket on a hanger
Cream polo with an orange collar on a peach background
Translucent orange water bottle with the Daylight sun logo
Cream canvas Daylight tote hanging on a wall
Brown leather phone case with an embossed Daylight logo
Cream hoodie with a small Daylight logo on orange
Daylight merch store page with a tee, hoodie and cap
Daylight store product page for the Everyday tee

Brand anthem

The grid built the modern world.
Now it's struggling to power the next one.
The next supercycle will depend
on one thing: more power.
